Screenshot of newly open file with just two numbers entered and #### as sum

If have just became aware of it when I wanted to get the sum of two fields: instead of the result you get only ##### as if the field is too small for the result, but it isn´t.

You can create the bug easily by yourself.

1. Open an empty spreadsheet
2. enter a value in one cell, for example 100
3. enter a value in the cell below, for example 2900
4. mark the two cells and the following one and press the sum symbol.
5. instead of 3000 all you see is ####
6. Choose file => preview: There you can read 3000.

OS: WIN7, 64-bit (LO 4.0.2, German Edition
I can´t exclude that this bug exist since 4.0.x.
Under 3.6.x the display is correct

NOT reproducible with server installation of "LibO 4.0.2.2 rc - German UI / German Locale [Build ID: 4c82dcdd6efcd48b1d8bba66bfe1989deee49c3)]" {tinderbox: @6, pull time 2013-03-26 12:00(?)} on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) with newly created own user profile

I also can not reproduce this behavior using Linux Mint 14 x64 with LibreOffice 4.0.2.2.

Same question over here, therefore marking this bug status as NEEDINFO.

As shown in the screenshot I attached originally, I can reproduce the misbehaviour immediately in my environment (WIN7-Prof., 64-bit, SP1).

Not reproducible with reporer's as per comment 1

@ André van den Berg
Please increase column width until #### disappear and tell us the result (screenshot)!
Comment 5 André van den Berg 2013-04-10 20:11:24 UTC
As mentioned for bug 63174 the reason that formulars were displayed since the update from 3.65 to 4.00, was a changed default setting.

Thank you to Markus Mohrhard who drew the right conclusions since I had not the faintest idea that there was a setting for displaying formulars instead of their results.

No Fix, not FIXED.

Due to the comments this one seems to be a DUP of Bug 63174, what is a DUP of "Bug 60755 - Display formula in cell instead of value of result after editing formula, undedited cells not affected"

@André, please do not change the status of bugs, except:
Please feel free to reopen this Bug if you find evidence that we have an independent issue here (for example because the fix for the other bug does not work for you).
