Created attachment 77832 [details] Right-To-Left sheet Format->Sheet->Right-To-Left All the pop-ups windows appears outside workspace which means outside the screen. PS Left-To-Right sheets works fine (see the difference in the second attachment)
Created attachment 77833 [details] Left-To-Right sheet
This is interesting but not related to the right to left, just menus, filters, etc... on the right side are not designed to be contained in the window. Marking as NOTABUG as this is working as it's designed. Has this caused problems for you?
(In reply to comment #2) > Has this caused problems for you? Yes, it prevents me from using some program features because these popups appears outside the screen (ex. I can't select the filter list items)
So this will be an enhancement request, limit dialogs to LibreOffice window border. Will mark as such.
(In reply to comment #4) > So this will be an enhancement request, limit dialogs to LibreOffice window > border. Will mark as such. I don't see it as Enhancement because it prevents the user from using some basic features of LibreOffice.
If you full screen libreoffice, the dialog doesn't go outside of the window correct? This is just how LibreOffice is designed so it's not a bug, the way the filter (and other menu items work) is the left side is set to a certain point and then it expands however wide it has to in order to fit the content - therefore it's an enhancement (you're not reporting a bug per say, you're asking us to change the design which was purposely done). It's not related to the Right-To-Left sheet at all - it's the entire design of how menus and drop downs are handled
(In reply to comment #6) > If you full screen libreoffice, the dialog doesn't go outside of the window > correct? No it's going out side the window... I'll add a new screenshot in full screen shows this issue. > This is just how LibreOffice is designed so it's not a bug, the way > the filter (and other menu items work) is the left side is set to a certain > point and then it expands however wide it has to in order to fit the content > - therefore it's an enhancement (you're not reporting a bug per say, you're > asking us to change the design which was purposely done). No no, this isn't LibreOffice designin it's a crystal clear bug in gui coordinates calculation. As I said before some LO functionalists can't access them because of this bug. > It's not related to the Right-To-Left sheet at all - it's the entire design > of how menus and drop downs are handled I not sure a hundred percent but I didn't face this issue with Left-To-Right sheets.
Perhaps I am mistaken, adding another QA member to take a look at it - apologies for the confusion :) Joren - can you confirm the conversation from your understanding?
Created attachment 78195 [details] Right-To-Left sheet in Full screen.
I can confirm this behavior using Linux Mint 14 x64 with LibreOffice Version: 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 74af27fef6505d4e47b53ea765b9cc4a96629fa. Therefore I mark this as NEW. Priority: *minor: Does make it substantially harder to make high quality work/work properly. *high: very annoying. Kind regards, Joren
@Muhammed, Joel: is this bug a duplicate of Bug 55432? Kind regards, Joren
(In reply to comment #11) > @Muhammed, Joel: is this bug a duplicate of Bug 55432? heheheh I think it's a duplicated one :) ... but the description of 55432 really confusing so I suggest to modify that post or use this one instead. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 55432 ***
The bug is the general case for bug 55432 and not a duplicate, while it was fixed this bug is still open and reproducible in master.

Is there any progress on this bug? I'm using 4.0.3.3. It still exits
(In reply to comment #15) > Is there any progress on this bug? If it's open and no commit was done for it, then the answer is no. > I'm using 4.0.3.3. It still exits Please don't change the bug info, the version is the oldest one the bug exits in.
