> *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 53922 *** 53922 is rated as a duplicate of anotherbug which is claimed to be resolved (in 3.... version) Actually it is not resolved as the problem happens in the current release. Have I missed something? If no, I disagree with marking this one as resolved.
I read again the comments on the refered duplicates and understood the technical background. However, this does not help the user who painted lots of rectangles in nice and neat drawings which are lost when the reload the drawing - they make no difference between classic and custom rectangles! If get offered the option to define the corners which are even diplayed the I expect it to work. As such I'd consider it as an existing, not solved bug. From an ergonomic point of view I can not understand why I this function is no more linked to the direct rectangle icon - it confuses users reduces acceptance of the tool! My expectation: 1. Bring back saveable the rounded corners into the "direct" rectangle button. This is what simple and intuitive for the user. 2. If this does not work disable the correponding elements in the dialoge to avoid bad surprises.
