I have 2 computers, on one it works normally, the other not. Reinstalled the language pack several times, but no luck. as far as I remember you should download separately the help pack (or select it during installation) in order to have an off-line helpfile. If you don't do this, the Helpfile is accessed online only.
Yes, I did that, in fact there is no other way looking at the LO download page. I think one crucial (index) file is corrupt. Can I de-install the complete program without loosing my macro's and then re-install it.? ________________________________ From: "bugzilla-daemon@freedesktop.org" <bugzilla-daemon@freedesktop.org> To: tvkleef@yahoo.co.uk Sent: Friday, 6 September 2013, 2:36 Subject: [Bug 68722] Reading the Helpfile Comment # 3 on bug 68722 from tommy27 as far as I remember you should download separately the help pack (or select it during installation) in order to have an off-line helpfile. 1- locate your user profile (see instructions here: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile) 2- create a backup copy 3- uninstall LibO 4- reinstall LibO with help-pack 5- is the user profile folder has been deleted by uninstall, replace it with backup copy
P.S. do not use your email client to answer on the bug tracker but rather directly access to it at this link: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68722
@Ton did you solve your problem?
No, but I will try to fix it later in October. I am staying abroad at the moment. Thanks. Ton
set status to NEEDINFO waiting 4 user feedback
I think it is a duplicate of bug 39325. @Ton, use en-US help pack instead, it is basically the same. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 39325 ***
