Problem description: Changes on connecting arrows between two objects are not saved. Steps to reproduce: 1. Draw two standard shapes 2. Draw a connecting arrow between them 3. Save the document 4. Close the document 5. Open the document again 6. Edit the arrow without changing start and end point 7. Save the document again 8. Close it 9. Open it again Current behavior: If you followed the nine steps, you see the document as you saved in step 3. without the changes in 6. Expected behavior: The documemt should open like it was saved in 7. Operating System: Fedora Version: 4.1.1.2 rc
Hi Lars, please attach sample file so anyone could reproduce using same procedure. Perhaps similar/related to Bug 68104, Bug 62617, Bug 52245
Created attachment 85182 [details] Two boxes and one arrow. Try to change the arrow and save it. Example file of the bug.
Same behavior under Windows as well (version 4.1.1.2)
I think Lars mixed up arrows and connectors. The bug actually applies for route of a connector which is not saved properly.
I just tested. Not sure what "edit arrow" means exactly but I changed the arrow to a big block, saved, reopened and the end was a big block. Attaching. If this isn't what you're talking about please clarify what edit arrow means. Else, leaving as WFM. If this is fixed, it'll be fixed for you with the release of 4.2. Thanks for the report

In particular if you are moving not the start or end point of the arrow.
It is the route of arrow, that is not saved. In Lars' example, you have on editing point on the connector arrow which changes the arrow's route between the boxes. If you change the route of the connector using a editing point, save the document, close it and reopen it, the route of the arrow is changed back to it's original route.
Since you've confirmed it, setting as NEW Major - this is a bit of a stretch but technically loss of data low - most likely not affecting many users at all @Lars thanks for clarifying, do you know if it ever worked? If it's a regression I'll try to pinpoint where we broke it :)
Created attachment 86621 [details] Video showing that the route of the arrow is not saved. Thanks for correcting the status. Since I have made video showing the problem, I might as well upload it here.
Created attachment 86622 [details] PDF printed on LO 4.0.5.2 Perhaps I'm wrong...I can succesfully change the route to what is seen in this attachment. Same result after closing & reopening file. Tested on LO 4.0.5.2 (Win7 32bit)
(In reply to comment #10) > Created attachment 86621 [details] > Video showing that the route of the arrow is saved. Sorry..I've just realized that you attached a video :) Still can't reproduce using that way with LO 4.0.5.2. Looks like a regression..
I think it's a duplicate to Bug 68104. Same behavior & I can't also reproduce bug 68104 with LO 4.0.5.2.
@Joel: I assume that it worked, but I do not exactly know:( @ign_christian: It looks like Bug 68104. Sorry for duplicate it.
Thanks for confirming Lars. Lets mark it such.. @Joel, please reopen if you think this should be separated. Decision in you :) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 68104 ***
