Prepare two cells. One formatted as DATE, the other with a formula =NOW(). Copy the value of the NOW cell and paste into the formatted cell, using paste special with only DATE+TIME enabled. Note that the formatting has been lost.

The same problem happens with TIME formatting.

thanks for your report. I confirm the behaviour.

I see however, that it will be fixed with the fix for bug 69720 (in 4.1.2.3)
