Created attachment 89005 [details] a file for hide comments disappearance test I have reported this issue with the Bug ID 61483. Because this issue is not appeared sometimes, I change the status as fixed. However, due to the tests for a period of time, I have confirmed this issue is not fixed completely. Hence, I reopen a new bug ID. Please help to check this issue and give some suggestions to get rid of it if available. Below are the steps : 1. open the attached file. 2. copy the sheet "hide" to a new sheet. 3. save the file and close it. 4. reopen the file. 5. the hide comments of the new sheet exist just the same as the sheet "hide_orig", but the hide comments in the sheet "hide" are disappeared. Confirmed with Version: 4.1.3.2 Build ID: 70feb7d99726f064edab4605a8ab840c50ec57a The comments mark are still there at the top right of the cells. Trying to display one of them (right click > display comment) display it in fact on the copied sheet. Set to New - Sophie

still NOT solved: right TODAY i got the same issue on a spreadsheet which i entried my monthly expenses in: ALL the comments have disappeared. i had used this file yesterday or two days ago (and comments were still there), today i opened it to entry a new value, and closed it again. this afternoon i opened it once more to further entry some datas, and i noticed that comments are not there anymore. the same thing happened to me about two years ago, when i passed from windows to ubuntu and therefore i decided to convert several spreadsheets from excel to libreoffice calc. version: 4.2.0.4 Build ID: 420m0(Build:4) O.S.: Ubuntu 12.04 kernel 3.13 thanks for your (eventual) help. Please do not change the version, we must keep the first version where we found it. I tested with version 4.1.5.3 under Debian and I still can reproduce the bug. Left reopened and add it to MAB because of data loss. Sophie

I think that what you describe does not fit exactly the bug description (you do not copy a sheet). That fits better the description of the bug 74325 which is fixed in version 4.2.1. let's close again this issue since the bug in the original description has been fixed (see comment 2) and problem in comment 4 was a different problem which has been fixed as well.
