Created attachment 91295 [details] Screenshot from dialog with error message. Problem description: OS: Mac OSX 10.9.1 , iMac Core i5 Steps to reproduce: 1. Connect Synology NAS in finder. 2. Sync some files between Mac and NAS using Finder and ForkLift 3. Open LibreOffice in this time and work ONLY with files on MAC, not on NAS ! 4. Close LibreOffice 5. Disconnect NAS in Finder 6. Next day open Libreoffice and create new spreadsheet document 7. Try to save Spreadsheet to LOCAL Mac drive. Current behavior: No chance to save, because the SAVE dialog hangs for many seconds and then says "Error during trial to connect to <NAS-Drive>". Tries several times, no chance to save locally !! Expected behavior: Chance to directly save file on local MAC drive, although NAS is not available. Error recovery: starting NAS without mounting it ! Then i was able to save the file on local drive !! Operating System: Mac OS X Version: 4.1.4.2 release
Well at least it didn't corrupt your file like I had with my LaCie drive ;-) Hard for me to confirm, as I have no NAS, but similar to bug 81416
Does it still have this behaviour if you switch to using LO native dialogs ? Preferences General Use LibreOffice dialogs
