Could not reproduce it with LibO 4.2.1 on Debian wheezy amd64.

How about trying it with LibO 4.2.1 on Windows, just in case?

Is this bug still valid / reproducible with the latest LO release? Currently 4.2.1: http://www.libreoffice.org/download/

Please also try resetting your user profile and let us know if that helps: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile

Should this be still reproducible for you with the latest LO release please set this bug back to UNCONFIRMED.

I'm still having the issue using 4.2.0.4 on Windows.

When I open the Sample document in WORD. The font for the heading is changed from "Calibri" to "MS Gothic".

So if the font used doesn't support the language, should a default one be used?
Comment 5 Alistair Leslie-Hughes 2014-03-13 00:17:14 UTC
4.2.1.1 still has the issue.
Comment 6 Takeshi Abe 2014-03-14 10:03:33 UTC
OK, confirmed the behaviour with LibO 4.2.2 on Windows 7.

I also tried LibO 4.2.2 on Mac OS X 10.6, but it works well.
So it seems an issue specific to Windows.

As Alistair suggested above, Calibri does not cover CJK characters
<https://www.microsoft.com/typography/fonts/font.aspx?FMID=1710>,
which would be part of the cause of this issue.
