I often get some Pivot tables from public organisations (XLXS). This Pivtot I can't use. When I use Excel to migrate the document to XLS and open it again - I can use the Pivot. In the migrated file (XLS) the Pivot couls be uses.
It should be more efficient if the XLSX Pivot could be readable too.

Open in LO 4.2 -> Useless content inside.
Open this XLSX File in Ecxel 2010. Save as XLS. Use in LO 4.2.
Just a note that I can't open the document under Ubuntu 13.10 and Version: 184.108.40.206 Build ID: 3be8cda0bddd8e430d8cda1ebfd581265cca5a0f, it opens fine in 220.127.116.11, but there is no pivot table inside - Sophie

Well - that the probelm! There should be a pivot table.
Reproducible in Fedora 20
Lireoffice 188.8.131.52 Build ID: 3be8cda0bddd8e430d8cda1ebfd581265cca5a0f
Libreoffice 184.108.40.206 Build ID: 1c1366bba2ba2b554cd2ca4d87c06da81c05d24
Unzip the attached file, you will see there should be a pivot table in range A14:A15, but LO only imported the value of the pivot table.
Set to new.
