Hi, tried with 4.1.5.3 under Debian 6/Gnome 2 and cannot reproduce. I can enlarge the window the not reduce it. What is your Linux version? Sophie

Hi,

Version of Linux Ubuntu 10.04 64 bit and Gnome 2.

Interesting - I'm just unable to make it smaller than a certain size (which is quite large actually). So you're able to make it very small?

We need additional info here. Moving to NEEDINFO.

@OP - please provide the information requested from Sophie and myself and then mark as UNCONFIRMED

Thanks!

Hi,

Tested under Fedora 20 (gnome 3 desktop), I can not make it smaller than a certain size either.

I can see this icon mixing by default in Czech user interface, where the strings are longer. However, I can't make the window smaller to force the mixing in the English UI. (LO 4.3.2 RC1, Ubuntu 13.10)

On all systems I have it is the same.

LMDE updated, Manjaro updated, Ubuntu 10.04.

Also it can only be resized to a minimum. The issue is the icons for actions. Have a look at the image attached to the first comment. Look at the upper right area and you'll see that the icons are covering each other. These icons should resize to fit to area and they are not.

Have the same problem with LO 4.1.5 (generic Linux version build by TDF) and LO 4.2.5.0.0+ (build at home) under Ubuntu 14.04 with FR localization.
I guess we have 2 toolbars overlapping.
Workaround: resize the window until it is wide enough.

Best regards. JBF

Hi, this issue has been resolved in Version: 4.3.0.0.beta1
Build ID: 2e39c7e59c8fc8b16a54c3d981dceef27fb0c07f

Please back port the template manager from this version to 4.2.5.

Will (sadly) not happen. This resizing is due a dialog conversion (to .ui using glade). As you can see in the release plan (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan) there is a UI and string freeze before 4.2.0 was released, so no new UI and strings will be accepted in 4.2 branch.

Kind regards,
Joren
