The user should be able to format the inserted image (to cut it, add different effects on it and so on). In addition, when the user clicks the image, a menu (which should be included in the present sidebar) should appear in the sidebar, with all available formatting options for it. But probably even more important would be to make it easier to find all the already available features. This should be more consistent, because a few features can be found in the menu, several in the new sidebar on the right and more features in the toolbar at the bottom (there you can also find the picutre features from the sidebar). This is a little bit inconsistent, not user-friendly and not easy to find and should be improved (all the features should be accessible from the menu, sidebar and toolbar). To crop a picture: go to FORMAT -> IMAGE -> tab CROP To flip a picture: go to FORMAT -> IMAGE -> tab PICTURE To change brightness, contrast, color mode, gamma, transparency: select a picture and go to the sidebar on the right To invert, smooth, sharpen, remove noise, solarize, age, posterize, flip, rotate, to implement the effects Pop Art, Charcoal Sketch, Relief, Mosaic, Grayscale, Black/White, Watermark and to change the color, transparency, brightness, contrast, gamma: select a picture and go to the picture toolbar at the bottom
