I think this issue happens only on windows I tested (4.2.1) on ubuntu, it pastes as expected

Hello walid, I just downloaded LO 4.2.2.1 and copied formated datas from Calc to Thunderbird and got it as Table as it can be seen in attachment. This works too with LO 4.3.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 7122ef19847b26529ed1d5bad40df869e91a8495 TinderBox: Win-x86@39, Branch:master, Time: 2014-03-06_00:38:21 on Windows 7 Home Premium. Confirmed: Windows 8 LibreOffice 4.2.1.1 Also confirmed: Not an issue in Ubuntu 13.10 w/ same release of LibreOffice Marking as: New Normal - I guess can prevent high quality work - I'm not positive on that though High - as it's been said that this is a regression bumping it up to High Regression - based on nice bug report from Walid I am marking as regression @Walid - thanks for the detailed bug report. If you have the time and can test other versions of 4.2+ it'd be nice to figure out where the bug was introduced. http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ I would suggest testing from the first 4.2.0 - and then update the version to reflect the oldest version you can confirm the bug on.
