Created attachment 98337 [details] Font Colour Drop Down Menu Obscuring Toolbar The Font Colour, Highlighting, Background Colour, Borders drop down menus in Libreoffice 4.3 obscure the toolbar. When the menus open they are situated too high and obscure the toolbar buttons. The menus that I have seen this on are: Font Colour (Writer, Impress, Draw, Calc) Highlighting (Writer) Background Colour (Writer, Calc) Borders (Calc) There may be others but these are the ones I have noticed. Attached is screenshot showing the issue when opening the font colour drop down menu. Test environment: Lubuntu 14.04 running in Virtualbox
Not reproducible under Win7x64 using Version: 4.3.0.0.alpha1+ Build ID: 0b03f7ed575838f90e6b1ebec3538a3a214f81fb TinderBox: Win-x86@42, Branch:master, Time: 2014-04-30_02:30:23 maybe a Linux specific bug?
… and it’s a LXDE/Openbox-specific bug. This does not happen when you run LibreOffice under other window managers that do compositing (GNOME/Mutter, Unity/Compiz, KDE… Marking as NEW.
@Gabriel did it work fine with 4.2.x under the same environment or it's truly a 4.3.x specific issue?
@tommy27 I installed Libreoffice 4.2.5 on to a Lubuntu 14.04 VM and the issue is present as well. Not 4.3 specific it seems.

Retested with Lubuntu 16.10 and LibreOffce 5.2.1 with GTK3 UI and the problem is no longer present. Setting to Resolved - Worksforme. Gabriel
