Kind regards,

The same file opens correctly in Ubuntu 14.04

The same file opens correctly in Ubuntu 14.04.
This bug appears in Windows (XP?)
Comment 7 Marco Borra 2014-05-24 14:44:47 UTC
In Ubuntu 14.04 you can see another bug that I have not yet been reported. at the end of the mail merge insert a page break are not present in the original document and an empty table.

LO 4.3beta1 and LO 4.2.4 side by side

The bug does not seem related to a specific document. Rather than Windows XP. I installed LibreOffice 4.3beta1 on a second computer with Windows XP, so I opened several documents .doc, .odt and .pub. All crashed. LibreOffice 4.2.4 open them.

Hello Marco,

I don't reproduce with LO 4.3.0.0.beta1
Build ID: 2e39c7e59c8fc8b16a54c3d981dceef27fb0c07f
under Windows 7 Home Premium.

Regards,

Jacques

joel madero has shown me that this bug seems to be a duplicate of:
bug 79112: LibreOffice-Libreoffice critical/medium UNCONFIRMED 4.3Beta1 on Windows XP: Crashes almost always on "File"->"Open"

This is a auto spellchecker issue as found in bug 77891. Disabling auto spellchecker will cause it not to crash when loading.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 77891 ***

beta1 builds for windows on http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/pre-releases/win/x86/ have been replaced with a fixed version if the problem still occurs after deinstalling the old beta and reinstalling the fixed one, please reopen this issue.
