Created attachment 101186 [details] Document depicting Read-Errors for images I have just migrated to Ubuntu 14.04 from Windows 8. I have the need to save all documents I write in Libre Office to docx, so I can compose and exchange documents between Microsoft Office or Libre Office format. In Writer I composed a document from scratch which contains embedded and/or inserted images and text. I exported the document out as Microsoft docx format onto my NTFS drive and when I reloaded the document today all of the images were not loaded and instead only placeholders were displayed with the message Read-Error and I am not sure as to why? but I realise it could perhaps be something to do with permissions. Incidentally with Microsoft office whether I paste and image from the clipboard or use insert, office embeds them just the same, so it doesnt need to find the original image location and suffer from an permissions issues, I assumed Libre Office was just as smart about this but I am not sure as to whether Libre Office actually behaves the same?
After taking a screenshot of the document, saving out as a png using gimp and attaching it to this bug report, I notice that my attachment was loaded as plain text, its just not my day today is it, all my images seem to want to be either read errors or plain/text.
