Comment 2 Kevin Suo 2014-06-24 05:45:07 UTC
I can confirm in Windows XP SP3, version 4.3.0.1.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open my following test ods file. Observe that column A has validity list in each cells.
2. Save as xlsx and reopen. Obverve that validity is retained only in cell A1 (validity for all other cells are gone).

Set to NEW.
OS: -> ALL
Importance: Highest major. Should belong to MAB list.
This is a PossibleRegression.

Suokunlong, it looks duplicate to Bug 67146. It's been broken since old time.

> test ods file with vadility list in column A.

Tested the file in 3.3.0, 4.1.6 and 4.2.5 and all loose the validity in column A. Saving as xls also has the same effect, but saving as MSO 2003 xml looses it even in A1.

I believe that this example file might not be what Riq was referring to, as i added number values in A1 to A10 and the validity check remained after saving it to xlsx. So Riq please send us a sample file to test against.

Column with two cells and validity check

Testing on vers 4.3.0.0 alpha1
Created file LOTest.xlsx with one column containing two cells. Set up validity check for the whole column to allow only these two values ('bank' and 'cash').
Saved as .xlsx file. Loaded back into LibrOffice. Validation works fine on attempts to change either of the existing cells. No validation occurs on entering data into any other cells in the column.

Exactly the same issue as bug 67146.
