The function "Format übertragen" (don't know how it is called in english) does not work in Libre office Writer. You mark a text, click on the button, mark the second text and this second text stays in the same formatting and does not inherit the formatting of the first text, as intended.

Dear buzanits,

It works fine for me on 4.1.6 and 4.2.5 on Linux Mint. Please provide some additional information, so that we can look further into your issue.

It happens on the attached file. I mark the first line, click on format paintbrush, mark the last line and the last line does not change.

I use Libre office packaged with Ubuntu 14.04.

Dear buzanits,

Thank you for the sample file. I can confirm that the format paintbrush last worked in this example in 3.6.7. All newer version dont work including 4.2.5, 4.3.1 and master.
