Description Daniel Naber 2014-07-10 19:12:14 UTC
Created attachment 102572 [details]
doc with errors, to be used with LanguageTool

Install LanguageTool from http://languagetool.org or Grammalecte from http://www.dicollecte.org/grammalecte/.

Call Tools -> LanguageTool -> Check Text with a text that contains at least two errors detected by the grammar checker (see attachment). Press "Ignore once" and the error will not be ignored, it will simply stay there. Tested with LO 4.1 and LO 4.2. Happens only if AutospellCheck (i.e. the mode with the blue wavy underlines) is not activated. Happens with both LanguageTool and Grammalecte.

Operating System: All

Confirmed.

Dear Daniel,

Unfortunately we only deal with bugs in libreoffice and not with third-party plugins.
Comment 3 Daniel Naber 2014-07-11 06:55:56 UTC
Jay, I'm sure this is a bug in LO, as it 1) affects two independent add-ons 2) depends on whether the AutoSpellcheck feature in LO is activated.
Comment 4 Olivier R. 2014-07-11 07:14:29 UTC
It occurs also with the bundled extension Lightproof.
Comment 5 László Németh 2014-07-14 11:25:03 UTC
I have checked with LibreOffice 3.4.2, it seems, this is an old bug, likely the problem of the original implementation.

Daniel: thanks for the bug report!
Comment 6 László Németh 2014-07-14 11:30:43 UTC
Other detected problem: red-waved spelling mistakes are reported after the grammar mistakes again and again in the same sentence (switch off autospellcheck to test it:

"This is an grammar mistake and a mispelling.")
