The 'Zoom...' flyout menuitem in the 'View' menu should just be 'Zoom' without any ellipses. Flyout menuitems do not launch dialog boxes, hence no ellipses. May need to be corrected in all languages.
Hi Helplbireoffice - can you describe this a bit more. When I go to View -> Zoom -> Zoom ... it does open a dialog window for zoom. Thanks for helping me understand the issue. To say the least this is a trivial thing so lowering priority. Thanks again for your great help with reporting bugs and enhancement requests! Also - is this specific to spreadsheet of LibreOffice wide?
When I go to the View menu, the Zoom flyout menu is labelled "Zoom..." with ellipses. Is yours not? I took a look in Writer, and it has the same error. How does one specify more than one application in a bug report? I agree with the Trivial designation. You're welcome for the help. It's a great project that needs all the help it can get.
Oh yes - I understand the issue now but I'm not following "Flyout menuitems do not launch dialog boxes" -> for instance look at View -> Toolbars -> Customize which also has the ellipse. Where did you find that ellipse does not launch a dialog?
I think it might be a dup. If it is, it's solved in 4.3.0. You might give a try with to 4.3.0RC3 (see http://www.libreoffice.org/download/pre-releases/) If I'm wrong, don't hesitate to reopen this tracker. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 72276 ***
@Joel The standard is that if there are ellipses, then a dialog must be invoked immediately. Since a flyout never invokes a dialog box (it invokes a flyout menu), a flyout should never have ellipses. @Julien That looks like an exact match. Nice catch.
