Input spreadsheet to reproduce problem

If a spreadsheet is saved in "Microsoft 2003 XML (.xml)" format, then the resulting file can not be loaded back into Libre Office. Trying to do so temporarily hangs, then shows a pop-up with "General I/O Error".

Steps to reproduce:

1.  Open attached spreadsheet "test.ods"
2.  File->SaveAs
    Select "Microsoft 2003 XML (.xml)" in the format drop-down
    Erase the ".ods" extension in the filename, if present
    Click Save
    If prompted, click "Use Microsoft..."
3. File->Reload (or exit and restart, then load the .xml file)

Results: Long stall, then pop-up with "General I/O Error"

Bug occurs with Version: 4.3.1.0.0+
Build ID: 6cbe7ec6a027aab829e1a800542ec3796ec719ae
TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@46-TDF, Branch:libreoffice-4-3, Time: 2014-08-04_19:32:28

But it's an old bug -- it also happens with 3.6.7.2

Hi,

It's not a bug. This "General I/O error" message will appear every 60 seconds *anyway*, you just need to click "Retry" to continue the import process. See bug 35543 comment 20 for more information.

Regarding the long time it takes: Yes, and that's because LO doesn't have real filter for this type, just XSLT.
