Created attachment 104862 [details] Screen shot of Styles window in Spreadsheet, Writer https://help.libreoffice.org/Writer/Using_Styles_From_Another_Document_or_Template The above document describes the way to use styles from another file / template. What I am trying to do:- I want to setup a Spreadsheet Template for my entire office. In that file I want to add all the common styles used in our office. So, the styles in template, will be available for all the employees in all spreadsheets. According to the document, I have to click on the arrow next to the "New Style from Selection" icon in the Styles and Formatting window. But, I find that there is no such arrow beside the icon. So, re-using styles is not possible in Spreadsheets. I've checked in LO Writer. I can find the arrow beside the "New Style from Selection" icon. So, reusing styles in writer is possible, but it is not possible in Spreadsheets (Calc). I think it is just an omission and not intentionally planned.
I've been seeing this from version 4.2.4 as far as I can Remeber. - Kiran Palla www.durgaraoandco.in/contact
Thanks for your report Kiran, (In reply to comment #0) > So, reusing styles in writer is possible, but it is not possible in > Spreadsheets (Calc). Indeed. You can circumvent that limitation by copying cells with the wanted styles to the target document. Ah yes, a but clumsy ;) > I think it is just an omission and not intentionally planned. Why do you think so :) Let's set this as enhancement. (And prolly there is a similar issue already ..) Regards, Cor
