Description dan 2014-09-08 04:49:14 UTC
Problem description:
When I try to save a new document, as soon as i click "Save as" the save as window pops up but i'm unable to enter the filename. Within seconds I get the spinning wheel and about 10-15 seconds after that the program crashes. When I reboot, the file recovery process works to give me back the untitled document but when i try to save it, it crashes again.

Operating System: Mac OS X
Version: 4.3.0.4 release

If an autosave has been made, the actual backup file should be in <your home directory>/Library/Application Support/LibreOffice/4/user/backup/

By default, the Library folder is hidden, so you may need to make it visible by following instructions such as:

http://osxdaily.com/2013/10/28/show-user-library-folder-os-x-mavericks/

If you can find it, and the content isn't confidential, could you attach the problem document to this bug?

It would also be helpful if you could supply the backtrace from the crash. When the crash dialog appears, select "Report...". The text needed should be in the window that appears - copy it into a text file, then attach that as well.

Thanks

Please upgrade to 4.3.1. This is fixed already.
