Problem description: Steps to reproduce: 1. type some text 2. select Options (or Service) Line numbering 3. The only availible format is Lating letters Operating System: All Version: 4.4.0.0.alpha2
For me not reproducible with LO 4.4.0.0.beta1 (Win 8.1, English UI). Steps Done: 1. Open WRITER 2. Type some words and leave the cursor in this line 3. Go to the NUMBERING icon in the toolbar at the top and select the arrow and there different styles of numbering can be selected: 1) 2) 3), i) ii) iii), a) b) c) etc. @Yan: Is this what you had done? Do you mean / see here only latin letters numbering and no Arabic and Roman numbers? If yes, which operating system and UI language are you using?
Created attachment 109887 [details] Screeenshot @Andy I mean new functionality in 4.4. There is line numbering
@Yan: Thank you very much for your fast reply. This helped me. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with this option. Steps Done: 1. Open WRITER 2. Write some lines of text 3. Go to TOOLS -> LINE NUMBERING 4. Reduce the Interval to see the function and click OK A line numbering is added at the selected intervals, but only with large latin letters A, B, C etc. I don't know if there is any opportunity to change this numbering format, but I think other formats could also be reasonable and be an improvement. Can maybe anybody else help with this issue?
