Description Christoph Thielecke 2014-12-27 16:34:44 UTC
After creating a writer document and adding a lot of formulas and open close sometimes, I lost a lot of formulas, instead the formula i got objects labeled "Object xx" where xx is a number.

I'm using Version: 4.3.5.2 Build-ID: 430m0(Build:2) from ppa.

Hi Christoph,

thanks for reporting
Can you imagine that what you see is maybe a representation of bug 82953 ?

Cheers,
Cor

Definitly no (autosave was disabled).

Not sufficient steps to reproduce. Marking as NEEDINFO.

@Christoph: We need clear reproducible steps that others can try to replicate. Saying "open close sometimes" and "I lost a lot of formulas" is just not enough for anyone to try to figure out what the issue is.

Please try to replicate the issue, also providing test documents would be helpful. If you're able to do so, mark the bug as UNCONFIRMED, without these, it's just impossible for us to even start to diagnose the issue. Thanks for your understanding.

I know but I had no plan to log my activity (because it was not planned to lost the data).

I can try but that could hard get it reproduced. Also, I extracted the broken odt file and looked into that. It seem that not all object data (formular objects) are in the file content but referenced in content.xml. How this can happen?
Unluckly I deleted that file but have the extracted data, will attach here.

Please have a look into the code and try to find out why not all contents are into the odt file (archive) are written.
