Is there a way to modify the font size in the Calc Formula Bar?

After spending about an hour searching Help, Nabble and Google I've come up with nothing.

The font size here is mighty small. I use the Formula Bar to read notes in certain cells and I do this constantly, it saves me many many mouse clicks.

Libreoffice looks much better to me overall than Openoffice, but due to this one problem I might have to go back to using Excel, much to my chagrin.

Grateful for your feedback.

Calc - Formula Bar Font Size

Here's an attachment. I'm grateful the Formula Bar is stationary when expanded. It allows me to flip through many notes quickly (as I have done for years with Excel) but the small font size really slows me down. Isn't there a way to increase it? Thanks.

Thanks for the screenshot.

So, I don’t think the font size is “mighty small”. It is Segoe UI at 9 pt, the exact same configuration for the rest of the UI. You can workaround the problem by increasing the font size in Windows appearance settings in the mean time.

Eventually this should be solved by making that field use the same font and font size than the currently selected cell.

I agree with the font size issue. You shouldn’t have to change your OS settings (I use Mac) to see your formula clearly. You can zoom in to the rest of the sheet — why not the formula?

I have filed a separate feature request regarding the actual font.
