Description Faber 2015-01-30 13:45:06 UTC

A x0c000007b error code is likely going to be a missing Microsoft C++ runtime.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2019667

I'd start with the 2012 (since you are on Windows 8 and had problems with 4.3.5 and 4.4.0) and attempt to install 4.3.5 again.

If that does not help, add 2010 and finally the 2013 VC++ runtimes.

Here are the links:

2012

2010

2013
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784

Please give that a try and let us know if you get past the install error.
Comment 2 Urmas 2015-01-30 15:55:31 UTC
Don't forget that you need to install the x86 version of the runtimes.
Comment 3 V Stuart Foote 2015-01-30 16:19:14 UTC
Yup! Thanks Urmas... I always forget to remind folks of that as well.
Comment 4 Julien Nabet 2015-06-08 19:36:16 UTC
Any update here?
Meanwhile 4.4.3 has been released.
Comment 5 Kay Golze 2015-06-09 12:57:22 UTC
I download the release 4.4.4_X86. After the installation I receive the C000007B error. My computer has no games, not special software, etc. It is a office system. The system is MS-Windows 7 Home Premium, with all actual updates.

I have installed runtime libs MS-VC++ 2005 (x86 and x64), VC++ 2008 (x86 and x64), VC++ 2010 (x86 and x64), VC++ 2012 (x86 and x64), VC++ 2013 (x86 and x64). I verify the system with "sfc /scannow". Result: no errros.

It is not possible to start LibreOffice or subprograms on my computer. Is LibreOffice a real useable software or a trojan?
Comment 6 Kay Golze 2015-06-09 13:00:20 UTC
Sorry "I download the release 4.4.4_X86." I have downloaded 4.4.3 x86.
Comment 7 Julien Nabet 2015-06-09 15:49:01 UTC
Kay: could you try the raw method:
- uninstall LO
- remove your LO directory profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Windows)
- clean your Windows registry with a free tool (eg: Glary Utilities, ccleaner)
- download again LO from official website https://www.libreoffice.org/
+ compare checksum to avoid download related problems.
- install again
?

My system: MS Win 7 Home Premium; Processor: Intel Pentium; RAM: 8 GByte.
No games or other special software installed.

I have download LibreOffice Version 4.3.7, 4.4.3, 4.4.4 und 5.0.0betra. The versions 4.3.7, 4.4.3 and 4.4.4 can be started in any way. Every program call the error messagebox with the MESSAGE "The application failed to start properly (0xC000007B).". The tips in this forum are: install VC++. I have installed VC++ beginning with 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 x86 and x64.

The installation of release 5.0.0beta is perfect. The program starts. If I open any old ODT, ODS or ODP file, the program crashes.

> My system: MS Win 7 Home Premium; Processor: Intel Pentium; RAM: 8 GByte.

So we'll assume you are on a 64-bit Windows, and your issues arise there.

As noted, except for the x64 builds (no TB builds for now) that require the 64-bit MSVC++ 2013 runtime, you need the 32-bit VC++ runtimes. For 4.4 you need 2012. For 5.0 you need 2013 and for 4.3 you need the 2010 32-bit builds.

Additionally, there are other system issues beyond the VC++ runtime that can affect things. .NET framework and the DirectX support.

Google is your friend, but these seem reasonable articles:

LibreOffice 32 bits needs a Java 32 bits
LibreOffice 64 bits needs a Java 64 bits
Did you check it's ok?

Remark: Please give a try with last stable LO version 5.0.3 + brand new LO profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Windows)

It doesn't explain how to reproduce this bug on LibreOffice, just give some hints what could cause this error in general on Windows and some hints (which are not enough specific to LO to help) to fix this.

I think best way to find the solution is <a href="http://errorcodesfix.com/fix-error-code-0xc000007b-windows-7-10/">http://errorcodesfix.com/fix-error-code-0xc000007b-windows-7-10/</a> also comprehensive guidance.

The current trend is in the direction of a healthier lifestyle and also a greener ecosystem. That may be why folk are progressively shifting towards non-Teflon pans. The general perception is usually that Teflon cookware is harmful for the setting and https://b4bestreviews.com/best-stone-frying-pan-reviews/
