As noted, except for the x64 builds (no TB builds for now) that require the 64-bit MSVC++ 2013 runtime, you need the 32-bit VC++ runtimes. For 4.4 you need 2012. For 5.0 you need 2013 and for 4.3 you need the 2010 32-bit builds. Additionally, there are other system issues beyond the VC++ runtime that can affect things. .NET framework and the DirectX support.
