Screenshot showing upside tick marks in menu

Tick marks show upside down.

I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64 bit.

I've tried using the PPA and the debs from the libreoffice website.

I've tried using Unity and Flashback (Metacity)

I've tried changing my locale from ZA to US.

I've tried changing the theme.

Tick marks still show upside down!

Here is the output of locale:

LANG=en_US.UTF-8
LANGUAGE=en_US:en
LC_CTYPE="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_NUMERIC=en_US.UTF-8
LC_TIME=en_US.UTF-8

Confirmed. It happens when you enable OpenGL for UI rendering. Editing summary.
