Created attachment 113264 [details] Different cell background makes the field shading hide the cell background. From Calc Menu - Tools - Options - LibreOffice - Appearance - Text Document - Field shadings, I can change the field shading color of a link but I can not cancel this feature although there is a check buton that produce no results if unchecked. I can only "hide" the "Field Shadings" by choosing the same color as the cell background color but if I change the background color to a different one, then the field shading of the link becomes visible again. I attach an example in order to understand what I mean. This could be solved by adding a trasparent option in the color settings(right to the "Field Shadings") or by deactivating the shadings when unchecking the "Field Shadings" button.
Changed to Enhancement request, but I myself have no opinion yet to it and therefore I left it still as Unconfirmed for other users.
Hello enermarcel, Thank you for reporting the bug. Can you see if bug 66545 is similar to your problem so that I can mark your report as a duplicate of it? (Later bugs are generally marked as duplicates of earlier bugs).
The reason why I request this is because I use spreadsheets often with one sheet being summary with links for 500 to 700 other sheets in the same document. When I solve one of the pages, I mark it down with a different color but because of the links have a different collor (the Field Shadings), wich shows above the collor of the celles I mark, the marking it's difficult to spot. This feature is present in Microsoft Excel or Google Spreadsheets.

I can't believe this problem is so old. I just lost my morale. This make's me think that people do not use Calc other then for some minor thinks. Maybe because it's bean more then a year and still not solved, it's easiear to just give up and find other alternatives. You can mark it as duplicate.
