Description Francisco 2015-02-11 20:15:31 UTC
Up to LibO 4.3.5 it's simply possible to add a caption to a table using it's context menu. This option has been removed in LibO 4.4 and I presume it's been an error not only beacuse I found it useful, but also because it helps the discovering of that _useful_ function. Many users (as me once upon a time) didn't even knew that it was possible after I see it in the context menu.

Furthermore, the option "Caption" hasn't been removed from the context menu for pictures.

Steps to reproduce:
Insert a table in a ODT document
Try to add a caption using the context menu

Actual results:
No the option "Caption" has been removed

Expected results:
The option "Caption" should be in the context menu.

Seems to be a decision from this enhancement: bug 86619 comment #3 step #3 3

Not sure if it was a good idea in the case of caption entry. That said rearrangement of table options is currently a work in progress.

Closing as duplicate of bug 86619. Please comment there if you want to do an alternative proposition.

Best regards. JBF

Yes the caption entry was removed from the context menu and it has been added to the table toolbar.
