Dialog Transparency 80%

If I include a picture as Background (via Seite - Bereich / my translation Page - Frame) and reduce the insensitivity (via Seite - Transparenz / my translation Page - transparency) to 80%. This normally works fine. If I store the document and open it again - the transparency is removed - so the background is with fully insensitivity!

Reproducible with LO 4.4.0.3, Win 8.1

Steps Done:
1. Open WRITER
2. Go to FORMAT -> PAGE -> tab AREA
3. Select "Bitmap" and then select any bitmap like for instance "Water"
4. Go to the tab TRANSPARENCY and set the Transparency to 80% and press OK
5. Go to FILE -> SAVE AS and save it as an odt file
6. Close the saved file
7. Reopen the saved file

Result: The transparency is lost.

Hello.

I have found this bug too in LO 4.4.1.2 on windows 8 via styles.

Using the styles and formatting window, for page styles.

Select a page style
right click to modify
select the area tab
select the fill option to bitmap
Import graphic
select transparency tab
apply 60%
save changes

save file

close file

open it again

the transparency is lost

if you try to edit the page style, going to the transparency tab, the seting is set to no transparency.

if you select the area tab, the background is set to "blank" bitmap, and returnig to the transparency tab, the background image preview is lost,

saving changes to the styles erases the background, and saving the file too.

This bug cannot be a duplicate of bug 85757 because that is about docx format and this is about odt format.

This was fixed in 4.4.3 by Michael Stah CommitDate: Tue Apr 21 00:33:58 2015 +0200 commit 822cb231c9aee2b69d0e645d2fddbab1dfbe3d14
