Now to get all updated you must go through different options to update them doing sometimes a hard recalc before and after of other updates. Well, the first and natural place to it: Menu/Tools/Cell contents but a button and/or and status even better. Having in account that we can have dependencies each other with some of them recurrent, and e.g. links paths can be calculated with formulas, I think the work flow must be: 1- Hard recalc. 2- Update external links + Hard recalc. 3- Update dabases ranges + Hard recalc. 5- Update Pivot Tables + Hard recalc. 6- Update external links + Hard recalc. 7- Update dabases ranges + Hard recalc. 8- Update Pivot Tables + Hard recalc. As I don't know the deeps, maybe some hard recalc could be avoided, perhaps depending on how Autocalculate is set up. Great will be if was selectable which of them for run, saved with the file, if other applications doesn't have this option, maybe doesn't imply a compatibility issue. If in the option could be included how many times to run (like circular iterations), then steps 6 to 8 can safely eliminated.
Setting to NEW. At least hard recalc can solve lots of bugs, so make it visible helps a lot.
