The path for My Documents and Dictionaries is not displayed. They were custom set in the previous version. Then tried to create a custom dictionary and it would be created but could not edit it and it did not appear in the set path. Reverted to 4.4.2.2 and all is fine again so the customized path setting is stored somewhere and is retrieved.
Hello Chris, Thank you for reporting the bug. Can you see if bug 90333 is similar to your problem so that I can mark your report as a duplicate of it? (Later bugs are generally marked as duplicates of earlier bugs).
It is similar to bug #90333 but that one only specifies a problem with Dictionaries path. There is also a problem with the My Documents path.
I have found that turning off "Load LibreOffice during start-up" makes the problem go away. Alternatively, close any active session and use Task Manager to end the Background process of LibreOffice. I also experienced the problem after reverting to 4.4.2.2, so this may not be a new bug. My laptop is running Win10 TP.
(In reply to Chris Chambers from comment #3) [...] My laptop is running Win10 TP. I propose to close this bug report as NotOurBug or INVALID unless you test it on a stable version of MS-Windows between XP and 8.1. Best regards. JBF

I have a TrueCrypt volume for my documents, dictionary, and Office backup. This volume is mounted via a password sometime after startup. These folders are not available to LO if LO is configured to load at startup. Changing this option seems to eliminate the problem. Sorry for the false bug report. This can be closed.
