Description Gérald Maruccia 2015-07-26 20:51:25 UTC
Hello,

Ubuntu 14.04 / LO 4.4.4.3

- create a document (page size A3) in draw
- export it to .tif

→ no dialog opens for choosing resolution, alpha or not, or icc…

→ a .tif is actually exported, which makes scribus complain about missing resolution information.

→ thumbnail for that file has wrong proportions.

Confirmed that this has been the case since at least 3.5.0, so this would be an enhancement.

Win 7 Pro 64-bit, Version: 4.4.4.3

3.5.0

It's not only an enhancement ;-)

It actually means LO Draw does not fulfill recommendations for .tif since it does not record expected informations in the file (header or metadata).

Sounds to me like a bug related to the filter. Moving the ticket from component=Draw to the respective place.

Following https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=988285410f8883ad49f32c4b804c4f5bd14569d0, I created a tif file from LO Draw, I could open the image on Scribus.

Next step is indeed to add the compression dialog to be able to choose options.
But now I think it's more an enhancement.
