Description Robert 2015-08-05 04:44:07 UTC
Resizing the window vertically with the double-ended arrow cursor in Calc is either “jumpy” or inoperative, but it works smoothly in Writer. Resizing right-to left works smoothly. There is no double-ended arrow at the top or the bottom of the window, just a single-ended one.

Confirming, see also bug 92242, which reports similar problems.

I'm not seeing any difference in resizing behavior, either resizing up/down or left/right. It's also similar in Writer. It looks like LibreOffice could redraw the window faster, but that might be my 2010 MBP.
