I tried another projector. Same problem. Slideshow only works with mirrored screens. This way I can't see presenter console.

Multiple monitor presentation. Console does not function

You can see the slide on the left monitor and no console on the right monitor

I see similar behavior:

Ubuntu 14.04 + Libreoffice 5.0.0.5
Impress was working until previous version with multiple monitors and the console activated.
Now there are two observed behaviors:

1) With multiple displays set to Auto external (Display 1)
The slides will show and change when clicked but no console in Display 2 instead a white screen with distorted yellow time digits (see attachement)

2) changing the multiple displays field to other settings will result in Impress freezing sometimes.

3) Changing the "multiple displays field to "All displays" will not work properly either. (Only central display shown others are black) see attachment.

Multriple displays set to "All displays"

Left and right monitor will be blank instead of showing the slides. Only central monitor will show the slides.

Apparently, resetting user profile solves the problem. I did that after reading this https://plus.google.com/101094190333184858950/posts/XXFMNXDrZaf. I am still testing it out, but I had success in my first experiences with one projector.

I think this is a duplicate of a bug that is fixed in LibO 5.0.1.2

please upgrade and retest.

if the bug persist, feel free to reopen.

probably an user profile corruption was causing issues too.
anyway as suggested before, please upgrade to 5.0.1
