Ubuntu does not show some GUI parts of LibreOffice 5.0.0.5

In Ubuntu 14.04, some parts of GUI are not displayed in LibreOffice 5.0.0.5.
On the same PC, LibreOffice 4.4.5 works fine.

LibreOffice 5.0.0.5 works fine with a Windows 7 PC.

The attached document shows a comparison with screenshots taken from LibreOffice 5.0.0.5 on two different PCs:
(a) a laptop running Ubuntu 14.04, and
(b) a desktop running Windows 7.

Forgot to mention that LibreOffice 5.0.0.4 (RC4) worked fine on the same laptop that shows problems in LibreOffice 5.0.0.5.

You should also install these packages (even if you don't use these themes):

libreoffice-style-tango
libreoffice-style-galaxy
