It isn't possible to delete selectively recent document at the Start Center. The small cross at the top right corner known from version 4.3 is not available.

not reproducible under Win8.1 x64 using LibO 5.0.0.4 and recent 5.1.0.0 alpha daily build

Hi,

$ sudo apt-get install libreoffice-style-galaxy

should solve your problem. (And please let us know if this won't solve.)
