Description Ulrich Windl 2015-09-08 13:33:07 UTC
I reproduced the following problem when changing paragraph styles:
Change something (e.g. numbering style in list style), then apply the change.
That works.
While the dialog is open, change back to the original setting and press OK.
This change is not set (style remains changed)
Open the paragraph style again, and change the setting again to the original value, then press OK.
That works eventually.
Most likely a regression!

Hi Ulrich,

thanks a lot for reporting this!

So..

1. Empty document, few paragraphs
2. Context menu: Edit paragraph style, tab Outline and Numbering
3. for Numbering style, choose List 1
4. click apply
  > see change in the document
5. for Numbering style, choose None
6. click apply
  > see NO change in the document

(could you try to report a bit more like this :) please - I had to read three times to get it right... OK someone else maybe not ;) )

I make the summary correct to and set severity to minor..

I did not check in versions other then 4.4.5.2

Regards,
Cor

Not explained exactly the same, but seems the same issue as reported in https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93901.

Please if you are not agree, reopen it.

First I think "Paragraph style change ignored" describes the problem rather well, and secondly if you change something in a dialog, then press OK, the change should not be ignored. I wouldn't call this a "minor problem".
