Created attachment 119912 [details] table sidebar content panel I had created this mockup last year on redmine ( https://redmine.documentfoundation.org/boards/1/topics/121 ) for including a table content panel in the sidebar Properties tab, so i'm including it here for easy access. Looking over the table properties/format dialog, the following options should likely be included in the sidebar. * width textbox * spacing combobox with presets (available in wrap content panel) * alignment drop down menu * table and row split across pages/columns checkbox * repeat heading checkbox and row textbox * spacing to content combox with presets There is enough functionality in table properties and management that a discussion about whether it needs it own contextual sidebar tab should be had.
Design by heiko including the table style drop down. https://design.blog.documentfoundation.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2015/12/DesignBlog_TableStyle-3.png

A relevant comment supporting the idea of having a table sidebar deck, in particular since the addition of style editing capabilities introduced in LO 7.5 (for Impress and Draw): https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=151185#c9
I guess this enhancement request, asking just for a panel to be added to the Properties tab, has been filled in LO 6.4 with this commit: https://git.libreoffice.org/core/+/83658678e69ba83979c659e37fd3c950942139f9%5E%21 We can open a new report to discuss moving forward with table styles, table design and table panel
