I updated to the latest Intel graphics driver released November 20, 2015. Here is the pertinent version information below. There is still no improvement in graphics corruption. I now get completely black graphics when OpenGL is turned on. I can't even see menus to turn off OpenGL in options. http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Driver/mb_driver_vga_intel_64_100series.zip Version 15.40.12.64.4326 Release Version: Production Version Package: 514268 Intel(R) Graphics Driver: 20.19.15.4326 Intel(R) Display Audio Driver : 6.16.00.3189 Intel(R) Display Audio Driver : 8.20.00.659 Platform / Operating System(s): 6th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) processor family (codename Skylake) Microsoft Windows* 7-64 Microsoft Windows* 8.1-64 Microsoft Windows* 10-64 (Nov_Upd_RTM_10586) 5th Generation Intel(R) Core(TM) processor family (codename Broadwell) Microsoft Windows* 7-64 Microsoft Windows* 8-64 Microsoft Windows* 8.1-64 Microsoft Windows* 10-64 (Nov_Upd_RTM_10586) 4th Generation Intel(R) Core(TM) processor family (codename Haswell Microsoft Windows* 10-64 (Nov_Upd_RTM_10586) Release Date: November 20, 2015

To recover use of LibreOffice a manual text edit of the registrymodifications.xcu file in the per-user profile will resolve. Alternative of deleting the user profile works, but may fail going forward as OpenGL rendering is being enabled by default for some builds. 1. exit LibreOffice 2. open registrymodifications.xcu in a text editor (vi, gvim, notepad, etc.) 3. locate the UseOpenGL stanza as here: <item oor:path="/org.openoffice.Office.Common/VCL"><prop oor:name="UseOpenGL" oor:op="fuse"><value>true</value></prop></item> 4. replace its boolean value setting it "false" 5. save and exit 6. restart LibreOffice, OpenGL should be disabled and GUI should be available.

It would be greatly appreciated if someone could test with the latest 5.1 development snapshot to see if the double-buffered rendering fixes have improved things here. Thanks !

With nightly master build as of tonite - 15.12. 2015 - I can see stuff on the screen w/ Lenovo Tablet & Windows (Intel inside, I don't know the details, thorsten does) With an older build (~ 2 weeks old) all I could see was window decoration, the screen was blank otherwise. So maybe let's call this fixed?
Sounds like a plan, Katarina.

The problem persists on Windows Surface Pro 4 with LibreOffice 5.0.4. I also installed 5.1 but it does not work either, crashing when trying to show the presentation with F5. I tried using the trick of disabling OpenGL but it does not have any effect.

How do we know it is the same problem, though? Original report was not about crashing or Surface pro 4. You also say it is not related to OGL. Please open another report or find a more relevant one to comment on.
