Description a.joensson 2015-11-14 10:56:43 UTC
Having worked for a long time at a 28 pages LO doc -- formatted with two text columns with paragraph format justified, footnotes numbered consecutively through all the document, text columns sometimes interrupted by images with captions in just one column, sometimes by images interrupting both columns, thus a rather complex layout -- and regularly exporting it to PDF (no matter if by short link/button or by menu with options), starting with LO 4.4.5 and persisting in LO 4.4.6.3 the justified paragraph format applied throughout the document is completely lost in the resulting PDF. Instead all paragraphs are aligned left and ragged right. Last non afflicted version *I know* was LO 4.3.7, as I skipped various updates in between. Appears on an iMac 2010 with (presently) OS X 10.9.5.

Trying various options in the menue's export option (PDF/A-1a, Hybrid-PDF, PDF/FDF/XML format and/or combinations of) doesn't change the issue. I cannot attach the document/PDF, as it concerns a non public historical biography.

This was corrected for LO 5.0 and in current master. Unlikely to be ported back to LO 4.4--you'll need to upgrade.
