User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:42.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/42.0 Build Identifier: LibreOffice 5.0.3.2 I created a ppt file (also tried saving as pptx) in Impress but it displayed wrongly in MS Office 2010 when I shared it with a colleague. I attatch screenshots from WPS Office, which shows the same problem I saw with MS Office (I don't have a copy of MS Office). The file: http://www.2shared.com/document/eDaL8Fz-/test.html Impress: http://i.imgur.com/zVHofEj.png WPS: http://i.imgur.com/PpHRljI.png BTW it's kind of annoying I can't upload these files to this website... Reproducible: Always [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: en-US Module: PresentationDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Linux (All) OS is 64bit: yes Reset User Profile? No

Correction: I can upload the files after sending the report. Sorry :)
I figured out this is related to Autofit Text option for the textbox, which is on by default. I tried in vain to disable it globally. The following steps do not work for me to change the "master". http://en.libreofficeforum.org/node/5682 Every time I create a new file in Impress, the Autofit Text is ticked. So now the problem is how to disable Autofit Text everywhere, all the time.
To enlarge upon the "not work" part, I mean I can't save the changes to the Master document (I can't see any option for doing that). Also, even after I turn off the Autofit Text option in the master, when I right click in the Slide Pane and choose New Slide then this slide will have Autofit Text enabled.
