5.0.3.2 Build ID: 1:5.0.3~rc2-0ubuntu1~trusty2 Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8). In Base, create a form using the wizard (or any other way) and open it for editing. Add a grid control. Resize or move the grid control by selecting the control itself using the mouse. No only does Base lock up, but the whole O/S gui locks up. I can open a terminal and attempt to find the process and kill it, but most often I have to restart the PC. If, however, I resize the grid by selecting the bars at the left or top of the form frame, it works OK. If this does not happen on other platforms/systems, or can't be replicated by others, then it may be an ubuntu 14.04 gui issue or local configuration issue. I can't get a dump.
I am now baffled. Having had my system freeze several times a day for several days when resizing grid controls (I'm developing a new database), and having finally decided to report this issue, this morning I retested and it all worked fine. Strange things, computers.....
