Created attachment 121333 [details] Text box line should have gradiwn color, now jumping to eyes. When opening PPTX file with text box having gradient color and feature apparently missing from LibreOffice 5.0.4.2, layout is not very nice. Check the attached PPTX slide and comparing view from PowerPoint.

By text box do you mean the one with "Enable relay on network"? I don't see the long triangle and for me the text is green like in your MSO pic. No, forget that "Enable relay on network" thing, it works correctly with the current LibreOffice, screenshot on the right side was taken originally from even older Apache OpenOffice, which had problems also with that. What I meant, is that higher and narrower textbox, which creates that "blue frame fading to the right" effect for the other text box containing actual text. LibreOffice seems to miss totally a possibility to use gradient line color on text box frame, leading to that less than optimal representation. Both text boxes have also that gradient fill, which is not that nice looking, when compared to the PowerPoint representation, especially during the "Show" mode.
That coarse gradient fill is reported on Bug 96527, so this ticket should concentrate to the line thing.
Ok, thanks, confirmed. Win 7 Pro 64-bit Version: 5.2.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 014633f83e44ae8ba33087b6f38e8e253e281969 CPU Threads: 4; OS Version: Windows 6.1; UI Render: default; TinderBox: Win-x86@62-merge-TDF, Branch:MASTER, Time: 2015-12-15_06:21:44 Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI)
Problem still there on the latest LO 5.2 Beta 1 for Windows 7 SP1 64-bit
Still no gradient color available for frame border with LO 5.3.3.2 Impress on 64-bit Windows 10 Creators Update leading to really awkward result during the presentation.
