Hello,

I've used a conditional formating with 82 cases, and whenever I try to move the area using the box in the bottem right corner of a cell libre office crashes. This also happens when I use ctrl+D while beneath the cell. I've added an attachment with one cell on which you can see the conditions I've used and test that it crashes.

Ok, I did some more testing and for some reason couldn't replicate the bug again, So I created a new file in which the crash is present (2nd attachment, has 'version 2' on the end of its name), but is is more difficult to make it happen. If you go to cell E2 and drag the square in the bottom right corner one cell to the right, then press ctrl+z and then go to cell E3 and press ctrl+d this will probably crash libre office. If it doesn't, press ctrl+z again and repeat, after a few times libre office will crash.

P.S.: Yes, this are my school grades

I tried with the steps in comment 1, but no crash.
Sounds a bit like bug 97902

You could try with 5.1.0 or even 5.1.1 release candidate.

If it still happens, you could get us a backtrace: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/How_to_get_a_backtrace_with_WinDbg

Win 7 Pro 64-bit, Version: 5.1.0.3 (x64)
Build ID: 5e3e00a007d9b3b6efb6797a8b8e57b51ab1f737
CPU Threads: 4; OS Version: Windows 6.1; UI Render: default;
Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI)

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided further testing information.

While i'm typing this WinDBG is still analyzing the data so I don't have that yet (will come in a follow-up comment) but I'm also uploading a short youtube video in which display the bug:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfYoQE2rSiA&feature=youtu.be

At the beginning I show that I only have 1 conditional formatting case while after the crash there suddenly are 3.
Note that I have the Dutch version of LibreOffice so you might not be able to read everything...

Also, I didn't update to LO 5.1.0 so might try that too tomorrow
Comment 7 xanderspam1 2016-03-02 09:20:26 UTC
I tried it out, and couldn't reproduce it in LO 5.1.0.3; marked as resolved

Since there is no specific commit fixing this issue, setting to WORKSFORME. FIXED is used only when a commit exists.

conditional formatting makes Calc Crash every day. Sorry i'm tired to give more informations. Just test it. It´s easy to prove. The conditional formatting is in a mess completely.it's sure to be a bug, all version tested since V4.0

Please open a new report for your problem. You might also take advantage of the crash reporting functionality of 5.2 (TDF builds only) which will be released the day after tomorrow.
