Description MarjaE 2016-03-19 18:12:28 UTC
I have coordination problems, and trying to draw often descends into repeatedly trying to select one object, finding LibreOffice has selected and decided to drag and drop another, waiting for it to resolve the drag and drop, selecting undo, waiting for it to resolve the undo, and trying again to select that one object.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Have coordination problems.

2. Work with complex images, so LibreOffice stutters and freezes.

3. Work with overlapping objects, so if you miss one, LibreOffice will pick another.

Steps to mitigate, but not solve:

1. Use an external monitor and an external mouse.

2. Disable antialiasing, so LibreOffice doesn't stutter and freeze as badly.

3. Zoom in.

Arrrgh! Not Again!

4. If you can select the objects, use the position and size menu for fine placement.

Instructions don't work.

I can submit a sample, but I don't know any way to strip the text from the samplr asnd can't see any explanation. "How" doesn't explain "how".

I ought to remove my existing samples.

Another case of the same latency issue as 93540.
