Description grinderX19 2016-04-07 08:21:10 UTC
Got a couple of good ideas on Writer usability improvement.

I often use just 2 or 3 highlight colors in different ODT files and it would have been quite convenient to preserve them in Highlight Color > Recent section after closing the Writer (or create new Most Used section so the existing functionality is untouched). It will make sense to sort these colors by frequency of usage (most used colors moved to the left).

Sounds reasonable.

It's a good idea, useful also with "colore carattere".
If I close writer, recent are lost.
Can they be memorized inside the document?

Best regards.

Andrea

That sounds like bug 67995 and/or bug 85521.

Alright, recently used colors were implemented in 5.3 and I find it very helpful!
The only missing thing is:

>> It will make sense to sort these colors by frequency of usage (most used colors moved to the left).

Should we just reject this issue or edit it to mention sorting only?
