This happens in every LibreOffice app and in every similar menu: Font Size, Paragraph Style, etc. Changing the OpenCL options doesn't fix the problem, but it can be temporarely fixed if the LibreOffice window is minimized and then maximized. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open the 'Font Name' menu. 2.Change the font. Actual Results: The new font name is written on top of the old one. Expected Results: Only the new font name is shown inside the box. That appears to be a simple visual glitch in refreshing the font list combo box. What is your Desktop environment, and is it GTK2 or GTK3 based theme? Also, what is the status of LibreOffice's OpenGL rendering on your system (Tools -> Options - View panel). Also, please copy and paste details from the Help -> About LibreOffice
It seems to happen with any GTK+ theme (mis)using PNGs for GTK+ 2 support — that includes Adwaita, which for many theme developers is a “standard” to follow (Adwaita’s GTK+ 2 version has been broken since it was initially developed). The problem is not reproduced in themes using engines such as Murrine (e.g., Ambiance, Numix), which have become rarer as GTK+ 2 fades away. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 99134 ***
