Description John 2016-05-18 16:33:57 UTC
When using the Clone Formating tool in Calc, the user must select the cell, select the Clone Formating tool, and then click the target cell.

In Excel, users can also use the Clone Formating tool (Format Painter) by using the arrow keys to clone formating to adjacent cells. For example, the user would select the cell, select the Clone Formating tool, and then press the right arrow key to clone the formating to the cell to the right of the selected cell. This speeds the process of formating adjacent cells which is a common use of the Clone Formatting tool. This enhancement would also increase the consistency with Excel functionality which will make the transition to Calc easier for current Excel users.
